The Boy Who Loves The Stars

All alone under the night sky,
He gazed above and let out a sigh,
Marveling at all the stars that shined,
And the same twinkle in his eyes you'd find.

Not quite like the others was he,
His thoughts ran deeper than the sea.
A hundred questions his mind would hold,
And also his dreams and stories untold.

Exploring the horizons, among the stars he wished to be,
Like the universe, unbounded and free
But in life's jagged path he has found,
He also needs his feet on the ground.

As he treads along through day and night,
He seeks a chance to make his flight.
And still drowns in his dreams through lonely hours
This boy who has always loved the stars.

  1. The stars had always made him wonder,
the gaze to sky and thoughts plunder,
his feelings...universe so small to hold,
what you have in your eyes should never be told...

  4. Then the traveler in the dark
Thanks you for your tiny spark,
He could not see where to go
If you did not twinkle so.
